Welcome to Offord Primary School

Welcome to the Offord Primary website intended to provide details about the school, pupils, staff, ethos, aims and aspirations.  Some of the pages are changed regularly whilst some may only change annually.

 

The school caters for the two villages of Offord Darcy and Offord Cluny, but also accepts pupils from further afield when appropriate.  The school is built for 120 pupils and currently (2009/2010) has a school roll of 106.

 

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The school term dates page has been updated to take us through to July 2010 adding the training days.

  

PTA AGM meeting was held on 16 Sept 2009. The minutes have been published and are available on the PTA Page.

School Profile - new update 17 Sept 2008

 

Ofsted Inspection - new update 11 Mar 2010

The Education Act 2005 requires all schools to prepare and publish a school profile annually, replacing the previous requirement to publish a governor’s annual report.   The latest version of the profile dated Sept 2008 is available on line now from the "Archive" page and directly from this link.

  

Ofsted last inspected the school on 25 & 26 Feb 2010 and have submitted their report. The report indicates that the school is classed as "a good school". The full report is available in Downloads here.
